Kemp A. Boyd is currently employed by Pastoral Counseling Service of Summit County, a mental health treatment organization in Akron. In 2013, he was promoted to Director of Outpatient Services of PCS and he led the charge to develop and oversee operations of the Vassel Comprehensive Care Center, PCS’ outpatient mental health clinic. Kemp earned his B.S. from the University of Akron in 2004 and a Masters of Organizational Management with a concentration in Business Leadership from Ashford University in 2010.
With over a decade of leadership experience in the cultivation and motivation of staff and clients, Kemp empowers those around him to reach their full potential, including the young men at Kenmore-Garfield High School where he serves as head football coach.
Kemp and his wife Stacy reside in the Kenmore community in west Akron. Their family consists of six beautiful children: Virginia (11), Asa and Ashlynn (8), Majer (4) and Umari (1) and Matthias (4 months).
