June 25 – Opening the Front Door and Closing the Back Door
Pastor Greg Ford – One Church Columbus
Every pastor knows what is meant by the phrase “the front door and the back door of the Church”. The task of assimilating people who attend but who slip through the cracks is one of the pastor’s greatest challenges. There is no magic formula for opening the front door to attract visitors or closing the back door to keep them. However, there are some functions within a good system that help to get people involved and cared for, thereby effectively increasing the percentage of retention in the assimilation process.
